Sorry for the absence!
We've been occupied with raising children, gardens, fields, cows and more, and haven't taken the time to tell you about it.
Talitha is 9 months old, has 4 teeth, and after months of enjoying sitting & scooting, she just started crawling!
We're having fun with a more laid back child after 2 energetic boys.
Chamomile tea popscicles make good teethers, but wooden stools do not.
Joel & the boys spent several hours picking black raspberries. We had a feast eating them and made jelly, jam, ice cream and put some in the freezer for yogurt smoothies later.
We've made some home improvements and hope to make some more before the year is over.
Samuel Wagner is our hired hand and helps Joel milk in the mornings and whenever else he's needed.
He does a great job and is a godly young man. We are so thankful for him! Titus & Joshua like having a big brother around and think very highly of him. He's looking forward to getting his driver's license so he can provide his own transportation.
Titus graduated from four to two wheels when one of the training wheels broke on the old farm bike and he taught himself how to ride. Here he is taking the training wheels off that were getting in his way!
Now he is patiently waiting to get the innertube fixed so he can continue one of his favorite activities.
Joel sold at the Transport for Christ Benefit Auction, so we went along and enjoyed all the fun activities of the truck rally. Titus even had his first selling experience and received a round of applause afterwards.
Our new incentive for completing chores early--a water slide!
